Unclaimed returns

You can choose between different return solutions that are adapted to each service.

Unclaimed item

When the recipient does not collect a parcel or goods, it is considered undeliverable. This means that you, the sender, must pay for returned goods.

Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances arise where your mailing item is returned because the recipient is not there to accept delivery, does not want to accept the mailing item or the item is in an unacceptable condition.

  • Parcels that are returned will be sent back to you, the sender, without a new transport label.
  • It's easy to subscribe to the unclaimed goods report in Mybring, which shows you which customers have not collected your mailing items.
  • If the same happens with goods for delivery, two delivery attempts will be made before the item is returned. The driver will then drop the mailing item at the nearest terminal where a new transport label will be attached before it is returned to you, the sender.

When returning parcels, there is a charge per parcel: goods are priced according to the item and there is also a surcharge for printing out transport labels and other costs.

Our top tips for avoiding such returns

As the sender, you naturally want your customer to collect the goods, so that they are not returned. Therefore, it may be an idea to subscribe to the unclaimed goods report in Mybring which shows you which customers have not collected your mailing items, and then you can contact the customers in question. Senders who do this tend to experience a very low rate of unclaimed returns.
