The Challenge

The Facebook Awards celebrate the best campaign work on Facebook, chosen from thousands of global entries by a jury of the industry’s top creatives.

Facebook asked us to create a printed book to showcase the Awards winners and provide a fascinating insight into the campaigns that shook up the world in 2015.

The Solution

Beginning with a die-cut cover and ending with a fold-out final page, the Annual was designed to embody the creativity that it celebrates.

We interviewed the creative teams behind the biggest award-winning campaigns, digging into their inspirations, insights and processes.

Rather than opting for dry case studies, we wrote the 30 award-winners’ stories as compelling in-depth narratives or punchy bite-size snippets.

We created data visualisations to turn the Facebook Awards’ statistics into stories.

We commissioned six world-class illustrators to create six unique covers, representing each of the different categories at the Facebook Awards.

The Results

The Facebook Annual 2015 was sent out to the industry in October 2015.
