Terms
The insurance can be combined with all products and bought for each shipment, whether it's packages or pallets. The value of the product is defined as the value stated by the policyholder, but maximum the billing value including freight, insurance premium and 10 percent expected profit, plus customs if it is desirable that it should be a part of the insurable value.
The maximum insurance amount is NOK 100,000 per package or NOK 1,000,000 per pallet.
Cargo insurance can be bought for all types of permitted shipments, except mobile phones, wine, spirits and refrigerators, freezers, fresh goods or goods that are already damaged.
Shipments to and from Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan can not be insured. Get more information about insurance terms through Brings Partner First Marine A/S.
Price
You pay a fixed insurance premium for Europe and another for the rest of the world. The price will be the same regardless of the value of the shipment.
Year-round Insurance
You can also get all your shipments insured for a whole year at a time. Full-year insurance is signed at the same time as your customer agreement, where the price is agreed on individually.
How to do it
If you want to insure your shipments, you can easily do so via this form. If you want full-year insurance, please contact Bring via vareforsikring.dk@bring.com. On the shipment there must be no indication that the shipment is insured.
