Information about the processing of personal data– Registered letter
This document describes how Posten Norge AS (hereinafter «we») processes your personal processes recipients’ personal data when ordering Registered letter through Mybring.

There you can read more about, among other things, your rights, and how you can get in touch with us to exercise your rights, if you have questions or want to complain about our processing of your personal data.
The party responsible for processing personal data is Posten Norge AS, organization number 984 661 185, Biskop Gunnerus' gate 14 A, 0185 Oslo.
1. What personal data we process and for what purposes
When ordering Registered Mail in Mybring, the sender’s and recipient’s names and addresses must be provided. We use the recipient’s name and address to deliver the letter. Upon collection, the recipient must provide a signature and present valid identification. The sender’s name and address are used if the item must be returned.
The recipient’s telephone number or email address must also be provided when placing the order so that we can notify the recipient electronically.
Purpose: To deliver the letter to the correct recipient and collection point. The sender’s address is used if the letter needs to be returned. The recipient’s telephone number and email address are used to notify the recipient that the item has arrived and is ready for collection. Registered Mail requires presentation of identification to ensure that the item is handed over to the correct recipient. The identification check is carried out as a visual inspection.
Personal data processed: The sender’s and recipient’s names, addresses and signatures, as well as the recipient’s telephone number and email address.
Legal basis for processing: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.
2. How we share your personal data
We only share your personal data with others to the extent that:
- such sharing is described in this Privacy Notice;
- we are required to do so by law, regulation, or an order from a public authority; or
- such sharing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests, for example in order to defend ourselves against legal claims.
Any sharing beyond what is described above requires your consent. This does not prevent us from using data processors to process personal data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
All processing of personal data carried out by us takes place within the EU/EEA.
3. Storage time
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Shipment information is deleted once all obligations arising from the contractual relationship have been fulfilled, and no later than three months thereafter.
