    Delivery and receipt

The recipient will receive the parcel delivered to their door between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m, Monday through Friday. By default, we make up to two delivery attempts before the package is sent back to the sender. Additional services can be ordered where the package can be delivered to the recipient's local pick-up point after one and two delivery attempts.

Additional Services

Improve your customers' experience by adding some of our supplementary services. Here is a selection over the most used ones for Business Parcel.

  • A simple arrangement where your company pays for return freight. You can choose between enclosing a return address card in the parcel, sending out return address cards to your departments around the country or sending them directly to your private customers if needed. You can print out the return address card after you have ordered this service via EDI or Mybring. The service costs the same as ordering parcels with some exceptions.

    • The address card must have the recipient’s information printed on it
    • Return service parcels cannot be sent as cash on delivery (COD)
    • The returns shipment can be tracked
  • Simplified delivery is a service where the sender asks Bring to leave the goods at the recipient's location without the recipient being present to receive the delivery. The service must be ordered via EDI message. The service is free of charge. According to the agreement with the sender, the driver leaves the goods at street level, registers the goods as delivered and thus ensures traceability for the consignment.

This service entails that the customer accepts the associated risk with regard to liability and surrenders the right to compensation in the event of damage and loss. Not all addresses in Norway are suitable for leaving goods.

Simplified delivery can be offered in online stores so that the buyer himself decides whether this is a desired delivery method.

  • Two attempts will be made to deliver to the recipient's address. If two delivery attempts are made, an additional charge will apply.

A second delivery attempt is made automatically and costs NOK 55 per parcel from December 1, 2023.

If the recipient is not present to accept delivery at the door, collection from a post office/post-in-shop can be arranged. This must be ordered together with the EDI message and costs NOK 54 per parcel from December 1, 2023. This service can be performed after the first or second delivery attempts. Note! Only up to 4 parcels for delivery to the post office/post-in-shop after the first or second delivery attempt, respectively.

Collection deadlines are extended during holidays. Items with a collection deadline between 23 December and 31 December will be returned on 4 January of the new year. Items with a collection deadline between 15 July and 31 July will be returned on 1 August.

  • Shipment stopped or returned cancels the consignment before your recipient receives it.
You can cancel the shipment from the Mybring tracking page. Change of address will be available during the year.

The price for the service is NOK 206 per package from December 1, 2023 and must be paid even if Bring was unable to stop the shipment. The price does not include freight.

  • Suitable if you would like extra security for the item and has been developed together with Tryg Insurance.

When you are ordering additional insurance, you must complete the following information in the EDI advance notice:

    • Parcel number (applies as insurance agreement number)
    • Sum insured or value of the goods (for example NOK 12,000)
    • Object insured or contents (for example a watch)
    • Email address
    • Indicator ”Y” (Yes) in the specified field to say that you want insurance

When we have received your order and the parcel you wish to send, we will send an insurance agreement to your email address. If there are any errors or omissions when completing your order, the insurance will be invalid.

    Premium/price

The premium is 0.3% of the sum insured/value of the goods with a minimum premium of NOK 30. Excess is NOK 250 per compensation case. The maximum sum insured is NOK 25,000. If you state the value of goods as higher than NOK 25,000, you will only be invoiced 0.3% of NOK 25,000.

For example: The value of the goods is NOK 12,000. Premium = NOK 12,000 x 0.003 (0.3%) = NOK 36 (minimum premium of NOK 30). The premium will be charged to your invoice. If you have specified invoicing by email, the information will be on a separate line under the associated parcels.
