Mail - adjusted prices from January 1, 2026

Important changes Registered letters – January 1, 2026:
- Registered shipments abroad may only contain documents, not dutiable goods.
- Only small and large Registered letters can be sent registered abroad.
- Registered letters can be ordered in Mybring from February 1, 2026.

Important Information About Changes to Franking Prices as from February 1, 2026

February 1, 2026,Posten Bring will introduce a new pricing model for mail franked with a franking machine. You can find the new prices below.

Pricing Model for Letters up to 2 Kilograms – Franked with a Franking Machine:

The current model based on format and weight will be replaced with a fixed price per format. A new format category will be introduced:

- Small Letters (New format – Up to 0.5 cm thick): Length and width can be up to 25 cm x 17.6 cm.

Other formats remain unchanged:

- Large Letters – Up to 2 cm thick: Length and width can be up to 35.3 cm x 25 cm.

- Extra Large Letters – 2–7 cm thick: Length and width can be up to 35.3 cm x 25 cm.

- Extra Large Letters with Format Surcharge – More than 7 cm thick: Length + width + thickness can be up to 90 cm. Length cannot exceed 60 cm.

To make it easier to adapt your shipments, new format templates will be made available. These can be ordered via our online store for plastic sleeves and labels or by contacting customer service.

Prices for Stamps and franking machine 2026

Changes for Registered Letters:

- It will no longer be possible to frank registered mail with a franking machine.

- Registered letters must henceforth be ordered via Mybring or purchased at Post in Store. A new label to be attached to the shipment is generated by the ordering solution.

- The new solution provides better notification routines to the recipient and reduces the number of returned shipments.

- In Mybring, you also gain access to reports showing the status of the shipments.

A permanent change of address is offered free of charge for a period of one year
